PFA Engineering is in the business of engineered building systems design, with primary emphasis on mechanical systems. Our clients include a full array of architects, building managers, building owners and developers. The Augusta, Georgia office location allows us to serve clients all over the Southeast, with particular emphasis on Georgia and South Carolina.

Our History

Pruett, Ford and Associates, Inc. was founded in 1972 by J. Clay Coleman as a Professional Engineering firm specializing in mechanical building systems. In 1979, Robert E. Pruett became a partner in the firm, then referred to as Coleman, Pruett and Associates. In 1994, J. Martin Ford became a partner in the firm and the name was changed to Pruett, Ford and Associates, Inc.

Our Philosophy

The business philosophy at PFA Engineering is to serve each client on an individual basis, recognizing the client’s individual needs and developing a long-term relationship which addresses those needs. Our mission is to provide engineering services that respond to the client’s needs while being sensitive to budget, schedule and sustainability goals.

PFA Engineering's office is located in the Empire Building in downtown Augusta, GA.
